Mathieu Gorge is the CEO and founder of VigiTrust (2003) and an established authority on IT security and risk management with more than 15 years international experience. Thanks to his international reputation and, building on the success of the 5 Pillars of Security Framework™ which he created, Mathieu is in high demand as a speaker at international security conferences such as RSA, ENISA & ISACA. He is a well-respected figure in the security industry in EMEA and North America. Mathieu’s specialty areas include PCI DSS, HIPAA & ISO 27001 and he works closely with the PCICouncil (US& EU) as well as ANSI (US). Since 2006, Mathieu has been a Councillor for the Ireland France Chamber of Commerce and he has also recently taken on the role of Information Security Officer. Mathieu is also the Chairman of Infosecurity Ireland and an Official Reviewer for ANSI (one of the few Europeans!).
Mathieu is heavily involved in security research and collaborative programs. He regularly moderates and speaks at security events organized ISACA (NYC, UK Central Chapter, Dublin), ISSA (Global Web Conference Committee), Geneva Security Forum (International collaboration on CIP), East West Institute (Cyber Security Forum & working groups), and ICTTF & ISS world. Mathieu has also completed extensive research work in the area of secure printing, data storage & archiving. Rowan Fogarty is a highly experienced general manager and consultant, with considerable exposure driving change whilst ensuring compliance in highly regulated industries such as Aviation, Supply Chain, Security and Pharmaceuticals. He has directed large scale multi-country change programs, transforming organizations through process, organization and technology development following mergers, acquisitions and major downsizing exercises. In particular, he has experience in applying new and innovative business processes and technology, including on-line, EDI, RFID, bar-code and mobile applications to drive efficiency, quality and customer service. Rowan has extensive consultative selling skills and experience, from his time as Global Customer Operations Director with DHL Worldwide Express, and as a consultant with a range of local and global consulting companies.
Paudie has been in the computing business industry since 1982. He holds a BSc in IT, MCSE and is a certified ethical hacker with the EC-Council He has held several positions including systems administrator as well as IT Manager for blue chip Irish organizations including Data Solutions and Lendac Data Systems.
Paudie has been with VigiTrust since 2004. He has been involved in numerous security projects for the Irish Government focusing on technical aspects of the security frameworks in place with key VigiTrust government customers such as the Department of Justice, Equality and Law reform, the Legal Aid Board, the Equality Authority and Garda Complaints Board to name but a few.
Dermot O’Reilly has worked in the role of Learning Services Manager at VigiTrust since 2007. During this time, Dermot has overseen major eLearning-based projects for a range of clients, including Bank of New York Mellon, the Accor Hotel Group, the Irish Central Bank and the Department of Justice.
The original idea for the VigiTrust Advisory board was to get feedback from security & risk professional to influence VigiTrust’s solution & services roadmap.

Now it has evolved into a think tank in its own right – Information Sharing is the prime objective. The members are volunteers who benefit from direct engagement with C-level security & risk management peers, the opportunity to influence VigiTrust’s security R & D and the opportunity to get access to senior security research presented directly by research teams. The Advisory Board unique platform to exchange actual field security case studies & experience in confidential environment, including access to VigiTrust conducted reviews of “one-to-watch” technologies. In exchange, the Advisory Board members provide advice, recommendations and guidance to the Board of Directors and the management team of VigiTrust, related to corporate goals and strategy. Their advice and recommendations may include strategic direction, finance, technology and standards, infrastructure, administration or other matters felt to be generally relevant to the development, growth and profitability of the VigiTrust. However it is solely as an advisory body.

Quarterly Meetings are held locally in New York, London and Paris, whilst the annual meeting is held in Dublin where VigiTrust is headquartered.
